Trueline's client, a highly respected specialty construction contractor serving commercial, municipal, transportation, and infrastructure projects throughout Colorado, is seeking a Office Manager to join their team in the Denver metro area.
What You'll Do as the Office Manager- Manage all day-to-day office operations while serving as the central point of coordination for administrative, financial, and project support functions
- Own the company's payroll process, including certified payroll reporting and Davis-Bacon wage compliance
- Manage all permitting activities, ensuring applications, approvals, and project documentation are completed accurately and on schedule
- Administer and manage all aspects of Quick Books, payroll, and financial recordkeeping
- Manage budgeting support, purchasing, accounts payable, and other day-to-day financial operations
- Manage scheduling and coordination for field personnel, estimators, project teams, and sales staff to maximize efficiency
- Partner with company leadership to improve operational processes, drive efficiency, and support continued business growth
- Manage relationships with legal counsel, accounting firms, insurance providers, equipment vendors, uniform providers, copier vendors, and other key business partners
- Manage workforce compliance programs, including badging, fingerprinting, drug testing, training, and employee onboarding requirements
- Manage HR administration, employee records, benefits coordination, and personnel-related processes
- Ensure ongoing compliance with municipal, state, federal, and project-specific regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead, mentor, and manage the administrative team while fostering a positive, accountable, and high‑performing work environment
- Experience managing office operations within a construction, contracting, engineering, or related industry environment
- Strong knowledge of certified payroll and Davis‑Bacon wage compliance requirements
- Experience managing permitting processes and project‑related documentation
- Advanced Quick Books experience, including payroll administration
- Experience managing accounts payable, budgeting, purchasing, and general business operations
- Experience coordinating field operations, project schedules, and construction personnel
- Experience managing relationships with attorneys, accountants, insurance providers, vendors, and other outside business partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- Positive, hands‑on management style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Self‑starter who is eager to learn, continuously improve, and become a trusted business partner to company leadership
- Experience supporting public works, transportation, airport, municipal, or infrastructure construction projects
- Familiarity with CDOT project requirements
- Experience managing compliance requirements for Denver International Airport projects, including badging and security procedures
- Construction accounting experience
- HR leadership or employee relations experience
- Experience implementing or improving business processes, systems, or operational workflows
- Competitive base salary of $100,000-$140,000, depending on experience
