POSITION SUMMARY

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Fading WestLLC. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. The Controller will manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and all accounting and compliance with financial regulations.

? Financial Management:
Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R,
A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
? Maintain a Timely Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Schedule of all
accounting and admin items include the timely closing of the books monthly.
? Financial Reporting:
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
? Budgeting and Forecasting:
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget
and financial forecasts with CFO. Report variances and implement corrective
actions.
? Provide Short and long-term cash flow models & cash flow projections
? Ensure sufficient controls are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure
integrity of company data
? Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory laws and
rules for financial and tax reporting.
? Internal Controls:
Maintain, Refine and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
? Audit and Tax Coordination:
Coordinate and manage the preparation of
regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
? Leadership:
Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team,
including staff and third-party consulting firms. Mentor and develop staff, manage
work allocation, training, and performance evaluations.
? Implementation of new accounting software.

Qualifications

?

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Master’s degree in
accounting or CPA preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of progressive accounting experience, including 1
year of accounting experience in the manufacturing or construction industries.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and
