Duties
Help
- You will direct, manage and oversee non-nuclear engineering and planning work and make technical decisions related to the overhaul, repair, conversion, construction, inactivation, recycling of ships.
- You will prepare and submit to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) non-nuclear requests for major deviations and waivers, and serve as the Guam Detachment approval authority for local (minor) waivers and deviations.
- You will establish and manage the engineering and planning priorities and programs to ensure Guam Detachment mission requirements are met.
- You will ensure proper, timely and expeditious accomplishment of non-nuclear engineering functions.
- You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.

You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
