As the Vice President of Manufacturing at Pro Caps Laboratories, you will be the driving force behind our nutraceutical manufacturing operations, leveraging your engineering and manufacturing expertise to lead high-performing teams in delivering excellence in quality and efficiency. This role is designed for a leader with a robust engineering foundation, who can elevate our manufacturing capabilities and support our mission of delivering high-quality nutritional products.

You’ll shape the future of our production capabilities by optimizing end-to-end processes, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and implementing strategic initiatives that foster innovation. With a focus on operational leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration, your role will be instrumental in advancing our manufacturing operations.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).
  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally within the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (Sr. Director or higher).
  • Strong background in operational excellence, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking with a track record of implementing effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software.
  • Ability to translate vision into action, designing organizational structures and processes that align with Pro Caps’ goals for the next 3-5 years.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset to prioritize projects, lead best practice initiatives, and drive the development of operational excellence programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
  • Implement best practices and innovative strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the production of safe, effective, and compliant products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes and uphold industry regulations.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of manufacturing technologies.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Assess and drive talent development to ensure the team is well-equipped for the evolving manufacturing landscape.
  • Supply Chain Optimization:
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to streamline material sourcing, procurement, and distribution, ensuring a smooth and responsive supply chain.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, certifications, and legal requirements.
  • Work closely with the Quality and Safety teams to navigate complex compliance landscapes
