• Hybrid schedule with 3 onsite days per week
• Travel requirement: 25–50% at times
The QFS Co-Manufacturing and 3PL Manager leads Quality and Food Safety oversight across external manufacturing and third-party logistics partners. This role ensures products are produced, stored, and distributed in compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards. The position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the co-manufacturing network.
Key Responsibilities• Quality & Food Safety oversight for assigned co-manufacturing and third-party logistics partners
• Supplier and warehouse audits for new production and distribution locations
• Corrective action management for quality, regulatory, and food safety issues
• Root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across external partners
• Cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, R&D, Planning, Logistics, Regulatory, Sustainability, EHS, and Project Management teams
• Regulatory compliance management across co-manufacturing network
• Documentation review, creation, and maintenance for Quality & Food Safety programs
• Performance feedback and relationship management with external manufacturing and warehouse partners
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Science, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in food manufacturing, ingredients, quality, or production environments
• QA Manager or Quality Engineer experience within a food manufacturing facility
• Experience managing external suppliers or co-manufacturing partners
• CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) systems
• Co-manufacturing operations
• Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs
• Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)
• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• HACCP principles
• Manufacturing equipment and processing systems
• Regulatory compliance programs
• Root cause analysis methodologies
• Supplier quality auditing
• Experience auditing suppliers and driving corrective action implementation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and certifying agency requirements
• Experience resolving operational and financial supplier-related issues
• Travel up to 50% based on business needs
