ABOUT

THE ROLE

The AIM implementation/revitalization “Breaking the reactive cycle” is a change process with a substantial impact on the manufacturing of cement and all related departments. The success of the project is directly related to the effort and commitment of the client to support the change process actively. The Task Force as part of the AIM project organization is one essential condition to achieve the project targets, supporting and coaching in the implementation of the systems and laying a solid foundation for continuous improvement once the project is completed.

WHAT

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Perform all duties in a safety-conscious manner and be proactive in contributing to a safety culture.
  • Support the Project team members in the detailed elaboration of the SIS (System Implementation Schedule).
  • Promote the sense of urgency in words and deeds.
  • Establish constant and transparent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Work and collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely implementation of the activities of the SIS.
  • Communicate any deviation or symptom of constraint to the Task Force leader to enable correction before it becomes a problem.
  • Provide effective coaching to supervisors and managers in the practical implementation of actions following maintenance processes standards.
  • Document the processes and terms of reference to create the Maintenance & Production manual of the plant.
  • Motivate the team members to keep the momentum of the project during its entire implementation.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments, promoting a culture of safety and exhibiting these behaviors.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
  • Understand the elements and processes, coach the usage, communicate, and give feedback to the Task Force leader and AIM specialist.
  • Assist in the effective installation of all changes, monitoring the implementation of the activities according to the SIS.
  • Coach supervisors and managers in the practical implementation of actions following maintenance process standards.
  • Provide hands-on training on a daily basis, detect training needs and organize workshops to close gaps with the Task Force leader and AIM Specialist.
  • Participate in the execution of RCA sessions.
  • Provide technical expertise in preventive programs, inspection, planning, scheduling, and spare parts management.
  • Clarify plant needs regarding the technical expertise required for maintenance processes and communicate additional needs to the Task Force leader.
  • Support preparation of meetings and presentations.
  • Co-create the weekly report with other team members.
  • Support the AIM team during implementation.
  • Understand the MAC approach and how change behavior is achieved.
  • Ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education:

    Maintenance Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience:

    1 to 3 years in a plant maintenance position in a heavy industry; experience in management systems, quality systems, or project management preferred.

    Certifications:

    Knowledge or training in Lean manufacturing highly desired; project…
