Location: Longmont
We are seeking a skilled Orbital Welder for our 2nd shift welding operations team! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of orbital welding on stainless steel tubing on diameters of ¼", 3/8" and ½ " and wall thicknesses of between .035" - .049".
Duties
* Perform welding tasks using various techniques, primarily TIG on stainless steel tubing.
* Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
* Fabricate and assemble to tolerances determined by client
* Operate basic hand tools and orbital welding equipment as necessary for welding and fabrication work
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards using drawings and calipers.
Experience
* 2 years previous experience in orbital TIG welding is preferred.
* Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding project requirements
* Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely
* Experience working in a cleanroom environment is preferred.
