Loader Operator

Location: Milliken

EXPECTED RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

* Watch for oversize material or contamination in finished product piles.
  
* Load customer trucks with the correct material in the correct quantities.
  
* If in the pit, load raw material from the pit into the hopper at the desired
    production rate.
  
* Perform routine maintenance including machine cleanliness, daily service
    inspection, fueling, greasing, etc. Additional maintenance activities as
    required
  
* Help maintain a hazard free work environment by assisting in housekeeping and
    maintenance duties
     
* Includes cleanliness and upkeep of yard area

* Follow all safety policies, including MSHA and company regulations.
     
* Report safety hazards and create safety first culture
     
* Participate in safety meetings

* Other duties as assigned

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends if needed.
  
* Self motivated and able to work effectively in small teams
  
* Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Related industry experience a plus
  
* Experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferred
  
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

 TRAVEL REQUIREMENT

* Only as needed

  * $24.50/hr and up
