JOB SUMMARY
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus, subject to meeting program requirements.
Blackeagle Energy Services is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter-Fabricator to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for laying out, fitting, fabricating, and assembling piping systems and related components for the energy industry. Candidates must possess strong fitting and fabrication skills, welding experience, and the ability to pass a company-administered 6G weld qualification test.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLIITIES
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Lay out, fit, align, and assemble piping systems and fabricated components.
- Prepare pipe, fittings, flanges, and structural components for welding.
- Perform advanced pipe fit-up and fabrication activities.
- Perform tack welding in accordance with approved company procedures.
- Assist with welding operations as required.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and verify fabrication accuracy.
- Operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively.
- Work closely with welders, quality personnel, and production staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Promote and adhere to company safety protocols and regulations.
- Support and exemplify the company's mission and values in all interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial pipe fitting and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
- Advanced knowledge of pipe fitting, layout, and fabrication techniques.
- Demonstrated welding experience using GMAW and FCAW processes.
- Ability to pass a company-administered 6G weld qualification test.
- Ability to perform tack welding in accordance with company procedures.
- Understanding of weld shrinkage, fit-up tolerances, and fabrication sequencing.
- Ability to accurately use tape measures, levels, squares, and layout tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to tolerate frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching throughout the workday.
- Capability to push, pull, grasp, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Must be able to wear and operate required PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- ASME pressure piping experience.
- Energy-sector fabrication experience.
- Experience with pipe supports and structural fabrication.
- Forklift, overhead crane, and rigging experience.
- Previous welding experience.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
- $500 hire-on bonus

COMPENSATION
The expected compensation range is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and other qualifications.
Hourly wage + $2/hour shift differential pay
Pay Range: $28 - $39 per hour
