SHIFT LEAD

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of coworkers is maximizing their overall productivity during each shift while adhering to the highest safety standards.

$21.00 per hour.

1st Shift Monday - Thursday 06:00am - 04:00pm.

• Work with the On‑Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best service local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues locally, in conjunction with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move them to the appropriate staging area within the facility.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all industrial power equipment are performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, and air particulates.
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time.
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
