Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.

Under general supervision, supervise, coordinate and control the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit through subordinate Supervisors.
- Ensure continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules
- Provide Operations input for production and maintenance planning
- Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations
- Inspect assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained
- Coordinate daily with other Operational and staff areas, including but not limited to Maintenance, Processing, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, and Sales
- Directly supervise first-line or shift Supervisors
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline and three (3) years of operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience
- Additional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required
- Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques
- Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions/problems regarding equipment, materials, methods and procedures needed to complete projects
- Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Facilities/Pump Maintenance experience
- Tailings Dam Operational experience
Colorado water licensing at or above the following levels:
- Water Treatment Class C
- Water Distribution Class 1
- Domestic Wastewater Treatment Class C
- Domestic Wastewater Collection Class 1
Criteria/Conditions
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
