Job Summary
We will be accepting applications through July 4, 2026 or until filled. The Gogo Production Technician performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, working with engineers on set‑up, calibration, rework, quality testing, and production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. The role involves using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data for in‑line adjustments, assisting in developing methods and procedures, conducting experiments, and ensuring continuous improvement on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Assist with maintaining AS9100 production test requirements and certification.
- Understand and assist with inventory transactions and data recording required to produce Gogo’s products.
- Help with physical inventory requirements as required.
- Train fellow Production Technicians and new hires.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and provide feedback on the production floor.
- Collaborate and contribute to new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement projects.
- Document failures and learn from past mistakes.
- Assemble, disassemble, repair or replace subassemblies and/or assemblies to produce acceptable products without damage.
- Assist in the timely completion of manufactured assemblies while maintaining the highest quality levels of workmanship.
- Work with the team to provision products for testing.
- Inspect and test according to Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) or Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI).
- Test customer‑returned products and troubleshoot failures.
- Recognize and act accordingly to differences between production and rework processes and units.
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a Technical Associate degree.
- 1–3 years of related experience in an electronics assembly operation or testing electronic products.
- Basic understanding of electro‑mechanical assemblies and corresponding systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to read written and/or verbal instructions.
- Familiar with ISO
9000/9001; AS9100 preferred. - Computer literacy a plus; experience with Agile PLM and Navision ERP systems preferred.
- Certified to JSTD and/or IPC standards preferred.
- Will pass safety‑sensitive drug testing upon hire and random testing thereafter.
Base Pay: $19.20 - $24.00 USD per hour.
Target Annual Short‑Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 5% of annualized base pay.
