* ** Where You Will Work**  

Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart - separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day.

It can produce approximately 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling.

Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.

** Description*
* Highly skilled Mechanic who safely performs diagnostic maintenance, installation and repair of crush and conveying equipment and related systems.

+ Performs system troubleshooting, maintenance and component removal, repair and installation of jaw and gyratory crushers, vibratory screens, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems, mobile conveying systems, etc.

+ Performs mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance such as changing filters in the dust collection systems, checking screens, oil levels and lubrication systems

+ Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed

+ Responsible for maintaining work orders and performing work area inspections

+ Train and mentor other employees

+ Perform advanced welding and fabrication

+ May operate mobile equipment such as: forklifts, cranes, and boom trucks

+ Perform as a Fill-in Supervisor as required

+ Perform other duties as required

** Qualifications*
* ** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Two (2) years of experience in Crush/Convey mechanical/maintenance
** or
* * a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance

+ Proficiency in welding/cutting (MIG, TIG, ARC, Oxy-acetylene)

+ Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, machine shop, blue prints, schematics, fabrication, and part lists and repair

+ Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair

+ Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.
