Press Brake Operator (3rd Shift)

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will set up and operate both CNC and manual press brake machinery to bend, cut, and form sheet metal components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment, can accurately interpret blueprints, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Press Brake Operator to operate both CNC and manual press brake machines. The successful candidate will load and unload raw metal materials and finished parts, install tooling, clamps, dies, and punches as required for production jobs, and program and adjust machine settings. The role also involves reading and interpreting blueprints, ensuring quality assurance, performing daily machine maintenance, and following all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience operating press brake equipment or working in a precision sheet metal fabrication environment preferred.

Technical

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC press brake operations and machine setup.
• Strong shop math skills, including basic geometry and trigonometry.
• Experience using precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Capable of performing repetitive movements and manual tasks.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials and components as required.
