Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for a leading medical manufacturing organization in the Denver area. This position is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment while supporting equipment reliability, process improvement initiatives, and production efficiency in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
  • Support equipment performance improvement projects and process validation activities.
  • Identify root causes of recurring equipment problems and implement permanent corrective actions.
  • Assist with process optimization and scrap reduction initiatives through maintenance and equipment improvements.
  • Respond to equipment downtime with urgency to minimize production interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and utilize departmental systems and databases.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and departmental performance metrics.
  • Assist in training and mentoring less experienced technicians.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and flowcharts.
  • Proficiency using maintenance tools, instrumentation, and testing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Electrical systems
    • Mechanical systems
    • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    • PLCs and controls logic
    • Industrial networks and communication systems
    • Root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
  • Familiarity with welding, bonding, leak testing, or similar manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, hazardous materials, and other workplace safety procedures.
  • May be required to work alternate shifts or participate in on-call support as business needs require.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move materials using carts or mechanical equipment.
  • Good manual dexterity and visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to work under fluorescent lighting and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, and market factors. Comprehensive benefits may be available through the employer.
