Company Description

Outdoor adventure connects and strengthens us

That's what we believe at Sea to Summit. For more than 35 years we've been designing gear that helps people adventure with confidence. From ultralight sleeping mats trusted on Everest expeditions to dry bags built for Kimberley kayak crossings. Headquartered in Perth, we're a global outdoor brand with operations across Australia, China, the US, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden, and our gear is sold in more than 60 countries.

We are looking for a Brand & Community Specialist to support Sea to Summit's brand expression and consumer community presence in North America. This role drives brand affinity, creator engagement, and audience retention through hands‑on execution of brand initiatives, influencer and product seeding programs, and a well‑run email calendar.

Brand and community is the primary pillar: this person is the executional owner of how Sea to Summit shows up with creators, advocates, and the outdoor community — ensuring product seeding, influencer relationships, brand asset coordination, and launch execution are consistent, on‑brand, and delivered on time. Email is the secondary pillar: this person owns campaign execution and flow performance in Klaviyo, operating within a strategic direction set by the marketing manager.

This role reports to the Global Digital Marketing Sr. Manager and works closely with the Director of E‑Commerce and the Retail Marketing Manager on channel alignment and B2B communications.

Job Description Community & Brand
  • Brand execution: coordinate and traffic brand assets, copy, and product content across launches and campaigns — ensuring every North America consumer touchpoint is accurate, on‑brand, and on time.
  • Brand voice: maintain consistency across community channels, influencer communications, and email — acting as a day‑to‑day steward of how Sea to Summit sounds and shows up.
  • Influencer program: manage Sea to Summit's influencer and creator relationships day‑to‑day — outreach, briefing, contracting, seeding coordination, content review, and relationship maintenance — operating within strategic direction set by the Global Digital Marketing Sr. Manager.
  • Product seeding: own the seeding program end to end — coordinating requests, fulfilment, and follow‑through with creators and brand advocates.
  • Community listening: monitor consumer sentiment and community conversations across key channels; surface insights and patterns to inform content, product, and marketing decisions.
  • Community program development: bring a point of view on what a more structured community program could look like for Sea to Summit — identifying opportunities for advocacy, UGC, and consumer engagement over time.
Email Marketing
  • Email calendar: own B2C and B2B email campaign execution — planning, building, and deploying sends in Klaviyo aligned to the trading calendar, brand campaigns, and product launches.
  • Platform management: build, test, and deploy email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo; maintain audience segmentation and list health.
  • Performance: track and report on email performance — open rates, click‑through, conversion, and revenue attribution — and surface optimization opportunities to the manager.
  • B2B newsletter: own the monthly retailer newsletter (Trail Tales), ensuring it reflects current product priorities and brand messaging.
  • Continuous improvement: test subject lines, content formats, send cadence, and segmentation in collaboration with the manager to drive better results over time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, community management, influencer programming, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing creator or influencer relationships — outreach, briefing, and program coordination.
  • Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo or a comparable email platform preferred.
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally across marketing, sales, and e‑commerce teams in a lean environment.
  • Outdoor industry experience or genuine enthusiasm for outdoor gear preferred.
