Spruce Hill Community Church is a non‑denominational church made up of born‑again believers from various backgrounds and denominations. The church is located in a rural setting, 10 miles northeast of Monument, Colorado. We are a small vibrant church body, which desires to know and live out the Word of God. There are approximately 70 members, with weekly worship attendance of 100-125 members, regular attenders, visitors and children.

We seek a full time Senior Pastor who is a committed follower of Jesus Christ, and whose life testimony bears a divine calling and gifts of ministry to a local body of believers in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He is to be a man of personal integrity and high moral excellence in his personal life, showing a life surrendered to Christ as Lord.

He should have the gift of preaching and teaching with communication skills that effectively disciple and nurture all believers to maturity in Christ. Our pastor should have a pastor’s heart and a love for people to counsel, shepherd and relationally connect with individuals, the congregation and community.

Our congregation is spiritually guided by an elder board. The Senior Pastor is part of that elder board that provides guidance, counsel and leadership. It will be key that the congregation can observe this pastor being transparent, humble, honest, charismatic, with a cheerful and even‑temperament.

It is preferred that the applicant have 5-10 years experience in previous churches, and a seminary degree. The length of time in a church is not as important as long as they embody stability.
