Overview
Aspen Ridge Church, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains between Evergreen and Conifer, Colorado, is seeking a Christ-centered, Spirit-led Senior Pastor who joyfully affirms that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church (Colossians 1:18) and leads from that conviction.
We are prayerfully seeking a shepherd who faithfully preaches and teaches God’s Word, equips believers to make disciples, and provides humble, biblical leadership. The Senior Pastor will lead the congregation by aligning the church’s vision, ministries, and mission with Christ’s authority and purpose. This individual will provide spiritual oversight while investing in staff and volunteer leaders, cultivating a culture of servant leadership, discipleship, unity, collaboration, and spiritual growth.
The Senior Pastor will oversee a team of paid staff and volunteer ministry leaders, encouraging and developing others to use their gifts in advancing the mission of the church. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep love for Christ, a commitment to the authority of Scripture, and a passion for shepherding God’s people.
Responsibilities- Preach and teach God’s Word faithfully and clearly.
- Equip believers to make disciples and live out their faith in daily life.
- Provide humble, biblical leadership and spiritual oversight of the church.
- Align the church’s vision, ministries, and mission with Christ’s authority and purpose.
- Invest in staff and volunteer leaders and cultivate a culture of servant leadership, discipleship, unity, collaboration, and spiritual growth.
- Oversee a team of paid staff and volunteer ministry leaders and develop others to use their gifts.
Qualified candidates should demonstrate:
- A clear, personal calling to pastoral ministry under the lordship of Jesus Christ.
- A strong commitment to the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.
- Theological alignment with Converge and agreement with its statement of faith.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing and developing staff and/or volunteer teams.
- Strong biblical preaching, teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A shepherd’s heart with a passion for caring for people, making disciples, and developing leaders.
- The ability to foster unity, collaboration, and healthy church culture through servant leadership.
Salary Range: $120,000 to $160,000 – all inclusive
