We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) assignment at Pagosa Springs, CO. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Promote a safe and therapeutic care environment

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

Experience in Medical Surgical nursing or acute care setting

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts consistently

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Certifications such as BLS, ACLS (as required by facility)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs

Team-oriented mindset with collaborative approach to care

Attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
