The Nurse Manager leads and oversees clinical nursing operations across all Elevated Community Health medical sites. This role provides direct patient care and strategic leadership within a community and rural health setting, ensuring cohesive collaboration with the healthcare team and medical providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered services. As part of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), the Nurse Manager is responsible for upholding the highest standards of patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and addressing the needs of a diverse patient population.
Functioning as a Clinic Nurse and departmental leader, the Nurse Manager supervises nursing staff, supports clinical workflows, and upholds care standards. They manage a team of nurses and exercise a high degree of independent judgment in overseeing daily nursing operations, often with minimal administrative oversight. This position reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer.

The Nurse Manager ensures nursing and clinical services are accessible, equitable, and responsive to all patients. They streamline patient flow, coordinate care, and promote integration with medical, dental, and behavioral health services to provide seamless, whole-person care. - Stewardship:
The Nurse Manager fosters responsible and efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality care delivery. Responsibilities include assisting with budget development, staffing oversight, and implementing cost-effective, evidence-based clinical practices. - Quality:
The Nurse Manager champions continuous quality improvement by monitoring clinical outcomes, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting professional development through mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
Additionally, the Nurse Manager provides safe, effective, culturally competent primary and preventive care, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They supervise and support nursing staff across all Elevated Community Health locations and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
