Where You’ll LiveThe Gunnison Valley, which includes the towns of Gunnison and Crested Butte, is a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and adventurers. Requirements- High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course preferred. Completion of a vocational program preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or similar facility preferred.
- Maintenance of CPR/BLS certification.
- Make observational rounds as directed by the professional nurse.
- Observe and assist patients and report findings under the direction of the professional nurse.
- Assist to maintain a safe, orderly, clean and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and employees.
- Under the direction of the professional nurse, assist in performing selected procedures, simple treatments, comfort and safety measures and activities of daily living for patients.
- Assist in admission, transfer and discharge of patient.
Occasionally (0-33%): walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, kneeling, stairs, lifting/lowering (0-50 lbs), carrying (0-50 lbs).
Frequently (34–66%): standing, changing position, reaching, reaching across midline, handling, pinching.
Continuously (37–100%): see with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance.
Schedule & CompensationShift: 12‑hour shifts. Status:
Full Time. Compensation: $18.00–$21.60/hr, depending on experience.

All active employees working 40+ hours per pay period in a Full Time or Part Time position are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire.
Full Time staff are automatically enrolled in 401A plan as of date of hire.

Short‑term and long‑term disability:
