Schedule/

Hours:

• Facility will guarantee 36 hours per week out of 40

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Operating Room nurse
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven, strong orthopedic experience necessary
• Ability to work within a 70-mile radius as per facility guidelines
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing individualized, compassionate care to every patient and their family

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for nursing care delivered in the operating room
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical techs, and other clinical team members to promote optimal surgical outcomes
• Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team and patient before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, sterilization practices, and surgical protocols
• Serve as an advocate for patients, providing education, support, and comfort throughout the perioperative experience
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
