Family Nurse Practitioner

Main Street Family Care is growing and hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver urgent, primary, and telemedicine care across our Monroeville, AL clinics.

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
• Performing minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
• Suturing and splinting
• Providing general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Reviewing x‑rays (with radiologist confirmation)
• Managing general dermatology and eye problems
• Interpreting general EKGs
• Emergency management skills
• Offering general GYN expertise and treating children of all ages
• Assisting with occupational medicine and telemedicine services

Clinic Hours (extended, 7 days a week):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Rotating schedule (every other weekend):

• Week 1:
  Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2:
  Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN or higher education (new graduate friendly)
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
