Requirements- Provide high-quality emergency care for patients presenting to the ER during night hours
- Manage swing bed patients with thoughtful, patient-centered nursing care and discharge planning
- Perform timely assessments, triage, and interventions to stabilize patients
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, recovery expectations, and follow-up
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with procedures as needed
- Support a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or ability to obtain before start
- Experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing and swing bed / post-acute care preferred
- Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable with 12-hour night shifts and independent decision-making overnight
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
