Emergency Medicine (0.9 FTE) – Fosston, MN

The Advanced Practice Clinician will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They will work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. The clinic serves patients ranging from newborn to elderly.

• Provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.
• Care for patients of all ages, from newborn to elderly.
• Cover the emergency department for 72 hours – 2 weekends per month.
• Work independently while collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Maintain a high level of customer service to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co‑workers, and others.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Family Medicine and ER advanced practice experience required.

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in the appropriate state (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the appropriate state.
• Current certification in CPR and in the applicable area; national certification required.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
