Epic Ratios: 1:6 Nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs. While additional support is provided, candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios

Special Requirements : teaching hospital experience required, UCH surgical oncology unit, Majority of the procedures and diagnoses seen are related to the abdomen or pelvic area (Gynecologic Oncology, Colorectal, Pancreatic, Liver, Stomach, unit primarily cares for patients with a known cancer diagnosis needing surgical interventions to manage their disease process or complications. Nursing staff provides care to patients to help achieve specific post-op milestones for discharge.
