Advanced Practice Provider Opportunities At HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's
HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children's is seeking two advanced practice providers to join their growing cardiac intensive care unit. Qualified candidates:
Have a master's degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
Hold current licensure and certification (BLS and PALS required; ACLS preferred).
Possess cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) experience preferred.
Play a vital role in delivering high-quality, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric and adult congenital cardiac patients.
Work collaboratively with cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, nurses, and other team members, managing complex patients across the continuum of care—from admission through discharge.
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage medications and therapies. Participate in daily rounds, respond to emergencies, and provide procedural support as needed. Facilitate communication with families, contribute to care coordination, and ensure smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings.
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings.
Show flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call coverage.
Incentive/Benefits Package:
When applicable, may be eligible for additional compensation if engaged to provide call coverage services and/or administrative services.
In some circumstances, a minimum base guarantee, sign on/commencement, educational reimbursement, quality incentive, and/or relocation bonuses may be contemplated. Bonuses are awarded in exceptional circumstances only.
