RN – Med/Surg

Schedule:

Nights, 6 PM - 6 AM, every other weekend required

Assignment Details:

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state
• BLS certification
• One year of experience required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care and swing bed patient care as part of a healthcare team.
• Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
• Deliver health teaching and counseling to patients.
• Administer supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, either directly or through collaboration with other team members.
• Execute delegated medical functions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with ancillary departments and physician providers to address patient needs in a culturally and age-appropriate manner.

Compliance / Notes:

No mandatory overtime, but overtime is allowable.
