Perioperative / PACU Registered Nurse

Pagosa Springs, CO

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Coordinate and manage safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Provide direct patient care, education, and support while serving as a liaison between the surgical team and patient families or support systems
• Function in the role of Circulating Nurse, 1st Scrub (Instrument) Nurse, and/or 2nd Scrub (Assistant) Nurse based on experience and training
• Collaborate with the entire surgical team using a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR

• Minimum 2 years of perioperative nursing experience
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT surgical procedures, and interventional pain management
• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Gastroenterology / Endoscopy Lab experience
• CNOR certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR
