Position Overview

MPH is looking for a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Room RN in Fraser, CO, located in the Colorado Rockies 90 minutes west of Denver. The role is in a brand new critical access hospital in Winter Park/Fraser, adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park Ski Area. The hospital is Trauma Level IV and prefers candidates with CAH experience.

As the Registered Nurse providing care to the Emergency Department, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge, utilizing accepted standards and protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN). The RN is responsible for achieving patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways.

Shift: Nights – 3 × 12‑hour shifts per week and 2 call shifts per 6 weeks. Holidays and on‑call coverage are required. Some coverage in Granby or Kremmling may be required.

Required:

ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, TNCC, ATLS, CEN.
