Pay Range: $57.69 - $62.50 per hour
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients by performing physical exams, diagnosing conditions, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform complete physical examinations, obtain thorough medical histories, and accurately record findings.
- Order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Interpret and integrate clinical data to determine preliminary diagnoses and develop therapeutic plans.
- Administer medications and injections in compliance with state laws and clinic guidelines.
- Suture minor lacerations as needed.
- Instruct patients and their families regarding medications, treatments, and health management.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and illness prevention strategies.
- Recommend community resources to support patient and family needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
- Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Post test and examination results in patient records.
- Triage patient telephone calls and provide appropriate consultation.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform minor procedures such as suturing.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
