About The OpportunityThis position assumes responsibility and accountability for providing nursing care for patients and their families. It requires expert, compassionate, individualised nursing care and collaboration with providers, staff, and other members of the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
What You Will Do- Oversee the daily patient flow to optimise patient care, safety and satisfaction.
- Triaged incoming patient requests for services.
- Delivered patient education to facilitate plan of care, informed healthcare choices, and promote optimal wellness.
- Delegate care appropriately and in accordance with Colorado state statutes.
- Performed competent healthcare assessment and prioritisation, using critical thinking skills.
- Handled high telephone volume of patient requests for medications, information and assistance.
- Administered medications, performed treatments, and assisted in procedures as needed, consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines.
- Coordinated patient care with other physician practices, Vail Health and others as needed to achieve the highest possible level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Worked independently with minimal supervision.
- Delivered excellent service by utilizing Relationship‑Based Care to advocate for safety, patient preferences, and optimal communication through partnering with patients and families.
- One‑year clinical experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
