Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a small critical access-style hospital, requiring TNCC certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• AHA Procedural Sedation Module certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Two supervisor, manager, or director references preferred for consideration

• Work in a combined Acute Care Unit serving Med/Surg, Emergency Department, and Outpatient Infusion functions
• Small unit with 6 Med/Surg beds and 3 ER beds
• Patient population includes inpatient, observation, and swing-bed cases
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, post-op (ortho), pneumonia, UTI/AMS, and failure to thrive
• Outpatient infusion responsibilities included
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements

• Role combines Med/Surg inpatient care, emergency nursing, swing-bed, and outpatient infusion responsibilities
