Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Travel RN-ER In Haxtun, CO

Deliver emergency care in a supportive hospital environment at the facility, serving a rural community with a strong culture of teamwork and empowerment. You will provide nursing care for patients with diagnoses such as congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, post-operative orthopedic cases, pneumonia, urinary tract infection/altered mental status, and failure to thrive. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, documenting care using Athena electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Colorado RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and AHA Procedural Sedation Module certifications. At least 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical and emergency department settings is needed. Recommended skills include strong critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team.
