We are seeking part‑ and full‑time Nutrition Care Associates to support exceptional resident care. The ideal candidates have senior living experience (long‑term care, assisted living, or memory support) and a passion for serving older adults.
Responsibilities include dining room service in Health Services Departments (AL, MS, and HC), in‑room tray delivery, and supporting the Dining and Catering Department in delivering high‑quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with resident dining services in Health Services Departments (AL, MS, and HC), ensuring a respectful and supportive dining experience.
- Follow diet orders, texture modifications, and therapeutic diets.
- Communicate resident preferences, intake concerns, and changes to the care team.
- Assist with feeding residents as needed, promoting safety and dignity.
- Maintain clean and sanitary dining and service areas per infection control standards.
- Report safety, sanitation, or dietary concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff for timely, accurate meal service.
- Stock supplies and support basic inventory needs.
- Provide patient, attentive, and compassionate service to residents with varying cognitive and physical needs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year of relevant experience preferred (senior services, long‑term care, assisted living, or memory support).
- Food Handler’s Certification required (provided during orientation); must follow all food safety regulations.
- Must demonstrate integrity, discretion, and protect resident health information.
- Strong communication skills; able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Compassionate, respectful approach when working with older adults; upholds residents’ rights.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, visitors, and the public.
- Must be physically able to assist residents (lift up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and push/pull as needed).
- Adequate vision and hearing (with correction if needed) to safely perform job duties and assess surroundings.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing resident needs and priorities.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required, including availability for weekends and holidays as needed.
