Responsibilities- Provides top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
- Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Registered Nurse – Trauma Nurse Core Course
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
- Includes up to level 1 trauma designation
- BCEN's certification standards included in evidence based care models
