Emergency Department RN - Travel Nurse Position

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Shift: 3 PM - 3 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department (ED) RN for a travel position. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in the rapid assessment, stabilization, and intervention of patients in need.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct rapid assessments and stabilize patients based on their medical needs.
• Administer medications and perform necessary interventions.
• Monitor vitals and interpret ECG readings.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team in emergent situations.
• Utilize and maintain medical equipment including IV Pumps, EKG machines, and U/S machines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care ED RN experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
• Preferred experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2 settings and previous Meditech experience.
