Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Position Summary The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages in an outpatient family practice setting. This role emphasizes clinical autonomy, preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized treatment while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Perform minor outpatient procedures, including wound care, suturing, splinting, and skin biopsies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Utilize telehealth services to provide follow-up care and maintain patient access when appropriate
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Qualifications
  • Active Colorado APRN license with Full Prescriptive Authority (RXN) required
  • Active DEA registration required
  • Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) required
  • Minimum of 2 3 years of primary care or urgent care experience as an FNP preferred
  • Ability to practice independently with strong clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience in rural, community, or autonomous practice settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
Schedule
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 4-day work week (Monday Thursday)
  • Outpatient setting
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $115,000 $ 145,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
