Registered Nurse – Radiology

Interventional Radiology Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality clinical outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during IR procedures, including vascular access and sedation.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions promptly.
• Document procedures, patient assessments, and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with radiology and imaging teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and call schedules, including on-call shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 1 year of current acute care IR RN experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with vascular access skills, PICC/midline insertion.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Exhibit excellent critical thinking, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
