Registered Nurse - NICU

Travel NICU Registered Nurse

Seeking a highly skilled Travel NICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional neonatal care in a Level 3 NICU setting. The nurse will be responsible for delivering advanced clinical care to neonatal patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care to critically ill infants in a high-volume NICU.
• Assist with medical procedures including umbilical line placement, intubation, and neonatal stabilization.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, and ancillary staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems such as CPN and Meditech.
• Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU acute care experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in infant resuscitation and neonatal stabilization procedures.
• Experience with Level 2 NICU preferred;
  Level 3 or 4 experience highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Additional skills in EAT Sleep Console assessment and neonatal transport are a plus.
