Registered Nurse, Med Surg - Meeker, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 08/31/2026 for 8 weeks in a hospital-level Med/Surg unit. Weekly pay range: $2,041-2,118 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Days. This is a travel- temporary assignment requiring immediate availability and the ability to work in a hospital setting without holiday time off requests.

  Housing may be provided; 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with rent paid; housing availability the day before start; distance rule applies (65+ miles from the facility); no pets and no smoking

• Deliver direct bedside care for adult patients in the Med/Surg unit, including ongoing assessment and monitoring.
• Manage vital signs, clinical changes, and routine nursing interventions, with escalation as needed.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders, adhering to policy, safety, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to develop and update patient care plans; participate in handoffs and discharge planning.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy of charting and adherence to infection control practices.
• Support patient safety and comfort, manage up to a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and respond to clinical changes and emergencies per unit policy.

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license
• BLS certification (current active)
• Covid vaccination as required by state mandate
• Med Surg experience with long-term care patient care required
• Willingness to work days and to work holidays as required by unit policy
