Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour Night shifts.
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic clinical environment. The role involves working in Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swingbed), Emergency Room, and Outpatient Infusion settings, managing a range of patient conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Medsurg and ED settings.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including those with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, post-operative cases, pneumonia, UTI, and failure to thrive.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in emergency response protocols as needed in the ED.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 2 years of nursing experience required, with a strong background in Medsurg and ED.
- Current and valid RN license.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module must be active and included in the profile.
