Job Overview
Colorado Scapes, LLC is hiring 36 Landscape Laborer positions for a temporary, full‑time seasonal role from April 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026
. The primary work site is 4040 S Clay St., Sheridan, Arapahoe County, CO 80110
. Employees will be transported daily by the employer between this site and additional worksites throughout Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson counties and the Denver‑Aurora‑Centennial area.
- Mulch, aerate, water, weed, grub, remove thatch, litter and debris; prune, weed and trim around flower beds, walkways and walls.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems; lay sod and sow grass, plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowers, ground covers, trees or shrubs; apply mulch.
- Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmers) and powered equipment (mowers, tractors, twin‑axel vehicles, electric clippers, sod cutters, edgers).
- Perform labor as outlined in SOC/OES 37‑3011.
Standard schedule:
Monday‑Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. The position offers 40+ hours per week, with possible weekend or holiday work. Work is outdoors and subject to weather; employees must be able to perform strenuous labor for long hours, including extreme heat or cold.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
- Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco‑free work zone compliance.
- Physical ability to lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle, position, move, and manipulate materials, and to exert maximum muscle force to lift up to 50 lb.
- No minimum education requirement; on‑the‑job training is available.
- Availability for the entire period and throughout all intended employment areas.
Base pay: $22.08 / hour (up to $26.00 / hour). Overtime: $33.12 / hour (up to $39.00 / hour). Wage is calculated weekly and paid every week. Possible raises, bonuses, or cash advances are at the employer’s discretion.
Transportation:
Employer provides daily transportation to the work location. Reimbursement for initial arrival, completion, and return travel is paid by check in the first work week. Daily subsistence is provided at the rate required at the time of travel (currently $16.28 per day up to $68.00 per day with receipts).
Three‑quarters guarantee:
Workers will be offered a total number of work hours equal to at least 75 % of the workdays of each 12‑week period. Voluntary abandonment of employment forfeits payment for outbound transportation and the 3/4 guarantee.
