Animal Hospital of Falcon is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our growing veterinary team in Falcon, Colorado. PositionSummary
As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to creating a positive experience for both clients and patients.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection.
- Conduct in-house laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
- Educate clients on preventative care, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
- Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment, surgical, and exam areas.
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential in Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and patient care.
- Experience in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance preferred.
- Excellent communication and client-service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
- Proficiency with veterinary practice management software is a plus.
