Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Veterinary Technician to join our team in Monument, Colorado.

What You’ll Do ResponsibilitiesAs a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an essential role in providing excellent medical care to our patients. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Obtaining patient histories and monitoring vital signs
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples
- Administering medications and vaccines as directed
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with anesthesia monitoring
- Performing venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, and other technical procedures
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Educating and communicating with clients about patient care
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
- Supporting the veterinary team wherever needed
- Compassionate and genuinely committed to animal welfare
- Experienced as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant with strong technical skills
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats in a clinical environment
- Detail-oriented and able to stay organized in a busy hospital
- A strong communicator with excellent client-service skills
- Dependable, professional, and a positive team player
- Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with veterinarians and fellow team members
CVT/LVT credentials are a plus
, but we’re also interested in experienced veterinary assistants who are motivated to grow their technical skills and career.

Position DetailsPosition: Veterinary Technician
Location: Monument, Colorado
Employment: Full-time or part-time opportunities available
Compensation and benefits will be based on experience, credentials, and position status.
- Compensation
- Base hourly rate of $21.00 - $23.00 DOE
- This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus
- Eligible for commission (where applicable)
