Registered Veterinary Technician - Elk Park Animal Hospital! Join an amazing team! Pagosa Springs, Colorado The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. Elk Park Animal Hospital is a long-standing mixed animal hospital with deep ties to the community, located in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We value compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for pets, and provide excellent client service in an upbeat and fun working environment.

• The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team.
• They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

• Registered Veterinary Technician, license must be current
• 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
