Registered Veterinary Technician - Elk Park Animal Hospital! Join an amazing team! Pagosa Springs, Colorado The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. Elk Park Animal Hospital is a long-standing mixed animal hospital with deep ties to the community, located in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. We value compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for pets, and provide excellent client service in an upbeat and fun working environment.
Our animal medical facility provides quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.
- The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team.
- They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

- Registered Veterinary Technician, license must be current
- 2+ years of clinical veterinary experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
