Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs. The position offers a varied general practice caseload encompassing preventative healthcare and medical cases, with the clinical resources required to investigate and manage patients to a high standard.

The hospital features digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory capabilities, cold laser therapy and facilities for soft tissue surgery. A collaborative clinical environment and feline-friendly approach are complemented by the use of fear-free techniques where appropriate. Students and newly qualified veterinarians are encouraged to apply, with dedicated mentorship available to help build confidence and develop clinical skills.

This is a full-time opportunity within a welcoming practice that values professional development, teamwork and strong relationships with pet owners. Veterinarians participate in a shared weekend and holiday rotation.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver preventative, diagnostic and medical care across a small animal caseload
  • Assess and develop appropriate treatment plans for wellness and sick-patient appointments
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options and ongoing care
  • Work closely with veterinary and support colleagues to provide consistent patient care
  • Maintain high clinical and professional standards throughout each stage of treatment
Qualifications Needed:
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary institution or equivalent qualification
  • Colorado veterinary licensure in good standing, or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure
  • Commitment to high standards of ethical and compassionate veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to clinical practice
  • New graduates are welcome and can receive structured mentorship
