Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager in Lakewood, CO.
Responsibilities for the Quality Control Manager:
* Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Implement and enforce the project's Quality Control Plan (QCP);
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., UFGS, federal regulations);
Review project plans, submittals, and specifications to identify and resolve potential quality issues.
* Inspection & Testing:
Conduct routine inspections and testing of materials, processes, and completed work to ensure quality standards are met;
Coordinate with third-party testing agencies as needed. Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
* Submittal Process Management:
Oversee the submittal process to ensure timely review and approval of materials and procedures;
Track and maintain submittal logs for project documentation.
* Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to address quality concerns;
Foster a collaborative approach to quality control, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Training & Leadership:
Provide training and guidance on quality control procedures to project staff and subcontractors;
Promote a culture of quality and accountability across all project stakeholders.
* Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain all quality-related documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, and non-conformance reports;
Report quality performance metrics to management and recommend improvements..
Qualifications for the Quality Control Manager:
* 2 years of relevant experience.
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
* Familiarity with UFGS specifications and federal project requirements (preferred).
* Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IBC, ASTM, OSHA).
Compensation for the Quality Control Manager:
* $110,000 to $140,000
* Depending on Experience
* Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
