The Climax Mine sits between Frisco and Leadville—highest incorporated city in the U.S. Employees who are required to work on‑site may receive a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.

You Will Do
- Assist with field surveys in a mining environment
- Assist with buried utility location surveys
- Assist and complete a survey "as‑built" on new and existing features
- Maintain and update appropriate documentation and electronic files
- Prepare and present findings to Engineering, Geology, and Operations personnel
- Compile data for blast hole patterns, road designs, etc., including basic cartography
- Perform other duties as required
- Six (6) months of experience in mining, construction or a related field
- A valid driver’s license is required for this job
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous surveying experience
- Ability to learn and operate computer programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing (keyboard dexterity)
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $21.00 - $29.00 per hour
. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonuses, benefits or retirement contributions. Additional discretionary and incentive payments may be provided based on performance.

- Employees may be required to work a non‑standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365‑day operation.
