Position and Compensation
Engineering Technician – 18‑month contract (Austin, TX)
Experience:
2+ years.
Location: Onsite in Austin, TX.
Type: 18‑month contract. Pay: $24 to $26 per hour.
New Hire Completion Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days. Estimated Min Rate: $24.00. Estimated Max Rate: $26.00.
- Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments
- Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities
- Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication and problem‑solving skills
